Golf

One of North Lake Tahoe’s truest truths is that when winter turns to spring, and spring melts into summer, all the runoff from the snowfall rejuvenates and restores the green life back into the six championship golf courses and four executive courses. Those are just the golf courses within the North Lake Basin. Another 14 lie within an hour’s drive of the North Shore. Regardless of where you play, whether your course snakes through a glacially etched valley, contours along Lake Tahoe itself, or winds links-style through the trees, you’re going to witness some of the most eye-popping views found in Northern California and Nevada.

The link to the right provides you with a full description of all of the golfing options at North Lake Tahoe. Call the numbers listed to ask about tee times, rental shops and lessons. Also, be sure to ask your hotel concierge if they provide golfer appreciation discount cards for any of the area courses.

Extras

PGA Professionals flock to Tahoe as the most rewarding place to combine work, life and play…though of course for a golf pro, who can tell the difference between any of the three? See the list below to find a list of head pros offering instruction at each of our courses.

  • Brannigan McNulty, Incline Championship Course
  • Pete Smith III, Northstar-at-Tahoe
